Dear Customer,
We’d like to inform you of an update to our nameserver IP addresses as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements.
✅ Who is NOT affected - (99%) of customers
If your domain is using Hostking’s nameservers normally (for example ns01.hkdns.host / cdns1.hkdns.co.za) and you have not manually set custom nameserver IPs, no action is required on your side.
Your websites and emails will continue to function as normal.
⚠️ Who SHOULD take action - Less than 1% Customers
This update only affects customers who have manually configured custom nameserver IP (glue) records, such as:
-
Reseller hosting customers
-
VPS / dedicated server customers
-
Anyone using custom or private nameservers registered at their domain registrar
If this applies to you, please update your nameserver IPs to the new values below.
